The Omics+ shared laboratory is a versatile facility equipped with essential tools for molecular and cellular biology. It includes an Olympus IX70 fluorescence microscope, ideal for high-resolution imaging of fluorescently labeled samples, and a ChemiDoc Station for sensitive detection of proteins and nucleic acids via gel and blot imaging. The lab also houses a Bio-Rad Real-Time PCR system, which enables precise quantification of DNA and RNA, and a Nanodrop One C spectrophotometer, for the rapid and accurate measurements of nucleic acid and protein concentrations. Designed for stand-alone use or as support for the Omics lab, it provides comprehensive analytical capabilities for diverse research needs.
